Our church has an awesome Praise & Worship team that
loves to lift up the name of Jesus! We have a live band with an amazing Praise
team. Our worship style would be considered Contemporary, singing a lot of
songs from Hillsongs, Clint Brown, Terry Clark, Paul Wilbur and Alvin Slaughter
just to name a few. We even have songs that some of our members have written.
We also have a team consisting of different FCC churches that go out to
minister anywhere in the U.S.
Media Ministry - Alex & Barbara Free
FCC’s Media Ministry team is committed to making your visit
memorable from the sound of the Worship to the ministering of the Word. All
services are recorded and can be purchased after each service so that you may
take them home and meditate on the Word given. We offer CD’s and DVD’s.
We also want to make sure you are able to sing along with us
with a projection system that allows you to see the words of the song and we
also project the scriptures that the minister is reading. Our team is
also responsible for the content of our website - www.FCCMinistry.com.
Nursery - Mrs. Georgia Melton & Mrs. Trinitia Cofield
FCC Nursery is a ministry for children 0 to 4 years old. It
is a ministry to the whole child; Body, Soul & Spirit. The infants and
children are ministered to by age category 0-1 years old and 2-4 years
old. Nursery is provided for each service except for special services where
all are included. The infants are nurtured and kept on schedules as provided by
parents. All children are fed a meal, experience Praise & Worship, taught a
Bible lesson, design a color sheet or create a craft, and sometimes watch a
Bible or fun movie.
Children's Church - Ministers Todd & Melissa Melton
Our Children’s Church program is for children 5 - 11 years
old. On Sunday mornings, we have an assembly of all the children where they
enjoy their own Praise & Worship, take up their offerings and are taught
using puppets, dramas, or costume characters. They all receive a snack. On
Sunday evenings they are broken down according to their ages and are taught on
their level, do crafts, learn dances, special outings and have a small snack. Each
Wednesday night is Kid's Club Night, where we go and pick up 60 - 80 children
from the neighborhood area and minister to them with fun Bible lessons and
food. Occasionally, we take some of the older children (8-11 year olds) along
with some of the younger youth on weekend trips such as to the mountains or to
minister at other churches. The children have a great time learning and playing
in a warm, loving Christian environment.
Youth – Matthew Edwards & Jason Roldan
Our church has a powerful youth ministry. We have a strong
emphasis on developing relationships that change lives. Programs do not impress
today’s youth, they are looking for loving adults who really care! Although our
foundation is solid centered on Biblical teaching, we have a great time. We
also take many of our youth on overseas mission trips each year, where they are
challenged to live a life serving God and others!
Nifty 50 Club
We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September thru
May each year. The hours are 10:30 am till 12:20 pm. We have devotion, prayer,
announcements of FCC events, celebrate birthdays & anniversaries of
that particular month. Then we play Bingo and have lots of fun and we give away
lots of prizes. We also serve a full hot meal and dessert. We have great
fellowship together.
