Freedom Christian Center has a Playschool & Kindergarten program for children ages 3 years old to 5 years old.
Our main goal for the 3 year old class is to show the children how very special they are, and how much God loves and cares for them. They learn basic colors & shapes, numbers 1-10, ABC’s, matching, opposites, how to properly hold a pencil and many other skills.
The 4 year old class learns ABC’s, Colors, Shapes, Days of the Week, Months of the Year, Numbers 1-20, Writing their Name, Seasons, Right & Left and Pledges. Phonics & Reading will be introduced according to reading readiness.
The Abeka curriculum will be used in the K-5 program. The curriculum consists of: Basic Phonics Reading program, Sound and Count, Writing with Phonics, Science (God’s World), My Favorite Kindergarten Poems, My Writing Tablet, and Numbers Writing Tablet. Each child will leave the program able to write and read phonetically.
Extracurricular activities for all classes include Bible, Art, Music, Trips, Parties, Gymnastics and Spanish Classes. The 3 year old class has an end of year program and the 4 year old & K-5 classes have a graduation ceremony at the end of the year.
The hours are from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. We follow the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system schedule for inclement weather and for most holidays.
We also have a couple of fundraisers throughout the year including a BBQ in October.
The tuition is as follows:
3 year olds (3 days/week):
·$145.00 Registration Fee (which covers all books, most supplies, school t-shirt and the end of year program)

3 & 4 year olds (5 days/week):
